  • New trophy bugged?

My rogue today got her trophy from apprentice to journeyman (woots).
Then she did approx 20 sucessful combines and no increase in the evolving %
my poison making skill is now 136 and the combo I am making is skill level 159.
I tried to camp and zone and see if that fix this but it doesn't.

As apprentice the trophy evolved every combine or every other combine. My bakers trophy (which is 4/7) evolved every 3-4 succesful combines (if memory serves me well).

So is this correct? Does the poison trophy evolve at a different rate then bakers/jewellers/potters (ones I have worked on so far)?

Weird thing also is that I sold the result to Uiyaniv in Abysmal and although his inventory is empty of sold goods (he only has his regular stock) they do not appear in his inventory.

For now I will put my things back in the bank and wait till I am sure there is no bug here.

Or am I having a blonde moment?

Uiyaniv sells 79 items, it only takes one item to fill his inventory which you probably missed seeing on his long list. Sort by quantity.

Please say which recipe you are making that is not skilling your trophy.

They do evolve at different rates but it should not be THAT different. The master trophy gets 1% ever 8-10 combines. Your skill vs. the combine trivial looks good and I guess you did not forget to equipt it, right? If so it does look like a bug to me.

I will need to know the specific combine to check it.

          the combine is Nematocyst Poison.
It did work and increased 3% per successful combine, but when it evolved to journeyman it stopped evolving even after I did approx 20 sucessful combines.

And yes I did equip in primary, then tried secondary, then tried to log then to zone and one back to Abysmal and still no difference

ah. It is probably ahead of you

As stated before... if the trophy evolves before you "evolve" it will not gain exp.

Take its level X50. If that is greater than your skill it will not gain exp.

I think he means your trophy won't evolve anymore until your poison making skill reaches 150, then it will start evolving again.

for those suicidal poison makers who have tons of plat to waste =-) i've heard no less then 800 combines to get from 6/7 to 7/7, and thats about 5-6 ppl i've heard from.

i'm also curious, i've read somewhere in the patch i think, that ppl who now do the trophy quests will get a more precise to the % number when they do there certificate combine.

so what of those ppl who have already done the trophy quest? do they choose to do it again and avoid some 400 or so combines? i know i'd rather not farm another heartsting venom sack ever again as it took an hour just to get 2 of em to make a single combine, but if i ever feel like working my poison making skill again i don't want to do another 800 combines of something else either and waste a ton of plat on a worthless poison just to see my trophy skill up some.

this also goes for other trophy's, i have a bakers one as well, and i may or may not get a brewing one, but if i get that one it won't matter cuz the fix is already in ;-)

I would not wanna be the one who tests this. Successful tasks give you a permanent entry in your task window, so who knows if you can get the task a second time?

                            You can re-do that task.

So it is just what you think is more difficult. re-doing the task, or just letting the trophy catch up.

                              no no no no

its, what you think is less boring, 800 combines, or tracking w/o track, and killing heartsting scorpians in field of bone for up to 3 hours for one combine

                              get it right =-)
