With the New Expansion OOW Out, Comes NEW (Non-Augment Item) Poisons! Huzzah But... Our Only Clue for this Comes from a Book Bought from Ciren Dakbog and Telir Na'Shalith by the Name of Jellico's Note. Here are the Recipes Transcribed from it.

This looks more like OoW Poisons, rather than GoD Poisons... since at least one component of each recipe appears to be OoW Drops...

All confirmed to work and the yeild is 2 per combine. Flesh Rot trivial is 340 and Spinning Confusion trivial is 268 or there abouts. Also, I believe its HEART of an Anuek not Hair. That would keep in line with some of the other ingredients.

but most of those componots are not listed to be tradeskill tagged in game any chance to change this gah i sold lots to vendor not knowing they were poison usable till today

Good job on figuring these two out!

A couple things though ...

1) I worked with what little info was in this thread to get recipes into the database, but it'd be great if we could get right-click info on the poisons and the drops over into the Omens submissions forum. Likewise for any other confirmed recipes and drops.

2) In that same Omens submission forum, there's a sticky thread on tradeskill items that are missing the tradeskill tag. As you catch things that don't have the TS flag but should, dropping them into that thread will help us get a more complete list to submit in to SOE for fixing.

More Questions for Poisons

I've been Merchant Farming all the Components of the OOW poisons I can find in Pok. I do have a few concerns I would like to Vent..
First and Foremost. Unlike Other Receipes where A + B = C These New OOW poisons sound like they can be crafted a Varity of ways. Example A + X = C -- Y + B = C and so on. This opens the door to more then the Base seven Poisons outlined in the book. But More Testing needs to be done to see wether the diffrent Components change diffrent attributes of the poison(possible Duration, Str, )

• Ikaav Eyes Have Two Different Items for Them. Eye of the Ikaav and Slitted Ikaav Eyes. Jellico's Note Says One Ikaav eye. Do they both work? Do they Create two diffrent poisons or two Different strengths?
• The Chimera's Have Two Different poison Sacs. One just called Chimera Poison Sac, and the other called Elder Chimera Poison Sac . Same Question Applies. Do they produce Different poisons? or Different strengths of the same poison
• There is an Item Called Discordant Ooze, is that the same as Discordling? Or once again. Use two Different ingredients
• Is the Scaled Dragorn Hide, the The Dragorn Hide Mentioned in the Note? or is it yet another Variation?

I have yet to try the Eye of the Ikaav with the other ingredients to see if it will work. I'm assuming that Discordant Ooze is the same as the Discordling Ooze mentioned in the poison book. I haven't gotten enough components to try the Scaled Dragorn Hide to see if the combine works, but I'm working on figuring it out. Mostly these components seem pretty rare, so having multiple combinations would make me happy.

I assume this is one of those mana drain poisons , I haven't got the chance to try it out yet. And on the spinning confusion , the regular eye of ikaav doesn't work , at least with the discordling dust and bull's eye combination.

I have just found a blood-filled aneuk heart , or something like that, which i assume is what Mr. Jellico is referring too.

Icy Gelidran Hides drop off of the ice Gelidrans in Riftseekers. These are all level 71 or 72 mobs. There are few ice Gelidrans on the level you zone in on, but most of them located on the lower levels of the zone. Riftseekers is a level restricted zone. You must be at least level 69 to zone in.

The Icy Gelidran Hides are droppable, and sell for 44p to vendors, so you may find them that way if you go vendor diving.
