after 5974 combines and approx 20k, Lushissx the bard on povar has hit 250. Now if I can just figure out why my jewelry has no stats!

I've been a lurker for sometime, but i just had to make an account and say:
WTF?! 20k to GM JC? What did you do? I was 40 skill in JC one night, and couldn't find a group... so stuck my LFG tag, went to my bank and grabbed pp... 3 hours later and 5k down the drain, i was GM in it.Comment

I bet I averaged 1-2 failures per stack with a geerlok and maxed 280 dex. I also notice it took about 5 stacks per skillup after 190. Maybe dex doesnt affect skillups since my wis is only 120 or so. I think the trivial failure rate is more than 5%, personally. The combines I did were always the closest to trivial. While imbueing metal may help, I doubt anyone not imbuing can do this cheaper than 18k now. And it took probably 7 hours time.Comment
