Mounted Gems bugged??

Ok, my mage with 188 skill never failed on a mounted gem yet.. out of about 8 tries. I know it is not alot but they were all trivial when I made them as far as a can remember. I just recently failed 2 times in a row on jacinth and then blue diamond. So i switched to my chanter with a 250 skill + trophy and still failed each time with no successes. Anyone else having this problem? *out some cash ugh* :shock:

actually i'd say he was unlucky the later times. The site says all mounted gems are trivial < 100, which means at 252 he should never have failed more than once. Either way the RNG alone is responsible, even at 188 skill

At 250 + geerlok, i've failed 2 in a row before. It can happen, but yeh.. the RNG is the true evil of the land.

Are you sure you where using 2 bars of velium and not 1? Seen a couple causes where people messed up and where trying to do velium x combines rather than mounting them. Other than that probably just bad luck.
