Non magical rings

I believe I already know the answer to my question, but I`ll ask anyways..
Is there anything to do with all these non magical jewels we loot ? For example, if I loot an Opal Bracelet that has no special attribute nor says that it is magic, is there anything else to do than to sell it ?

I am not 100% sure, but I do believe there was going to be an ability for Enchanters to enchant things and make them magic. But I don't think it ever went live. ( IMHO Enchanters should only be female too

I believe the idea of using a trade skill to sperate the item into its components had been discussed on this board at one time, but I don't think the idea ever really caught on.
