I've looked just about everywhere and can't seem to figure this out.

What is the MINIMUM JC level required to ATTEMPT the combine?

I am 199 and it wont LET me attempt it.

I know the trivial is 250+.. but I am looking for the minimum level required to attempt

There is no "minimum required skill level"... you could try with a Skill of zero, but you just won't have a good chance of success.

If memory serves, most PoP combines are now limited to 220+ effective skill to attempt.

That's not true Kraz, a lot of PoP combines are blocked unless your net skill is 220 or above. By net skill, I mean after mod if you have any.

Hmm... Well I know recipes for the PoP Quest Armor are restricted. I was not aware of the restrictions on other PoP Recipes.

It would help to get a listing of those recipes that have this 220+ skill restrictions so that I can update the database appropriately. But only list those YOU know from personal experience have the skill restriction please.

I am not a Jewelcrafter, and cannot confirm these myself. So your help would be appreciated.

I believe those restrictions were put in so that only a true master can have a chance. Getting to 188 is easy enough, and if one gets lucky, one can succeed on high-end stuff at that skill. Getting to 220 requires a great deal more perseverance.

Thanks all, I hit 209 last ngiht and still was nto able to attempt the combine.

I Guess I'll be checking after each skill up from here on, to be sure.

I think you will be able to do it at 210 with a greelock

209 * 1.05 = 219.45
210 * 1.05 = 220.5
