JC Trophy broke? or what?

I am getting really pissed off. Is the JC Trophy broke or something? Since last patch,.. possibly. JC is at 250 + 5% geerlok = 262 right?
well 4 attempts, 4 fails on rodcet nife. No idea what is going on. my int is maxxed at 260 and dex over 230. Oh yeah, not only have i wasted nearly 20k on attempts, but i punched my keyboard so hard, that the keys are poppin off... bah, had to buy a new keyboard.

Anyone know what is goin on?

Maximum possible skill is 252, anything passed that is wasted.

Sounds like a rather bad run from the RNG. You will get used to it. Some people have failed their trophy 7 times.

FINALLY !!! After 4 attempts, over 18k go bye bye, a little blood, sweat, and alot of cussing, I made it.. JC Trophy in hand.. =)

Took me 6 tries before I got my trophy. Well worth the effort. (I got it about 2 or 3 months ago, and the 6 attempts ranged from May '02 until February '03 - money depending)

I made my Trophy on first attempt (250, Geerlok, 250int), but....

I failed the trivial combine on the Artisan's Seal once first. ;-<

jewelcraft trophy : 1/7 (250 + 5%)
brewing trophy : 1/2 (250 + 5%)
smithing trophy : 1/1 (212 + 15%)

Ouch!

I must have been insane! Had I read these accounts I would have never tried for my trophy with a skill of 226 +5% geerlok. No failures and now I feel bad for those that have.
