Success rates on Bloodmetal Earrings

I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences with crafted the Bloodmetal Earrings of Engagement.

I have attempted 5 combines now (250 skill+GM Trophy - 280 wisdom - 65 Shaman, so no JCM AAs) and I have only been successful once.

Is this combine more difficult than other POP combines?

For reference I would rate my success on Valor Rings at approx 80% and my success rate on Electrified Earrings at like 95%.

I am hoping it's just a run of bad luck and the success rates will even out. If my success rate is really going to be 20% or less, then I will encourage my guild to stop wasting their components in my JC bag and find a chanter with JCM3. Someone tell me the successrate is better please!

6/6 250 JC, JCM2, Trophy.

2/2 so far... not a huge sample at all tho
1st combine - 250JC, no AA, no geerlock
2nd combine - 250JC, JCM1, no geerlock (gotta love it when guildies hand you a pile of stuff on a raid and want a combine)

wish I was this lucky on eyeglass combines =P

I haven't failed yet on at least 50 attempts of the Bloodmetal earring. I'm sure I just jinxed myself for writing that. :? I have failed a few times though on the Valorium rings.
