JC 250! +skill up info from 207-250

Made GM last night. I thought I'd post my data from skilling up for your reference if you're about to do the same thing.

I started at 207 skill, with 254 int and a Geerlok. I started off Enchanting all bars, but got fed up very quickly and hardly enchanted any from skill 220 onwards.[list]

250 JC

2700 is really nice. Took me about 6k to get from 210 to 250. I didn't enchant my plat very much though was too annoying to wait for medding. I think my failure rate must have been worse, because I think I averaged 2 fails per stack of 20 combines.....obviously some were nailed, but some were ugly, so I think it was around 2.

But I made up for it when i tried my trophy.........first try, BAM!!

I was pretty much following trivials, but here's what I attempted and when

Whats the deal with using a geerlok. i have been told
1) if the 5% puts you over the trivial you will NOT skill up, and not get a trivial message. (skill*5%+skill=newskill)
2) geerloc only effects the fail/no fail and has nothing to do with the trivials.

can any one clear this for me.
