Ok Need the straight good on Imbue

I am totally confused now after doing research on the Ring of Gallantry.

I am trying to figure out how to do the Enchanted Bar of Vallorium:

I am a 62 Necro and need a plan here:

Do I give a raw Diamond and Metallic Liquid to a 64 cleric / 63 Chanter who has Imbue Vallor spell memd or do I combine the Imbue Diamond spell+Raw Diamond and Metallic Liquid in a JC kit?

I have read so much confusing info on this:

My guess is that a chanter/cleric with the spell memd casts the spell and it consumes the diamond and liquid to produce the yellow diamond of valour.

Anyone help on this one? I could not find it in the FAQ

This is correct.

the other combine is to make the spell it's self so that you can scribe it and was put in place after release so you didn't have to use parchments for random imbue spells.

Ring of Gallentry

The making of the ring, has a few steps:
1. 2 sapphires and a poison vial , enchanter casts Distill Mana= Vial of distilled mana. Lvl 39 enchanter spell

2. Metalic liquid + raw diamond , enchanter or cleric casts Imbue Valor = Yellow diamond of Valor. PoP imbue spell

3. Vial of distilled mana and Brick of Valorium in a Forge in POK (Taanan FOrge) = enchanted bar of valorium. Trivial 135

4. Enchanted bar of Valorium + Yellow diamond of Valor + Razorfiend Tallon in a Tannen JC kit, or a kit summoned using the Tinkered collapsed JC kit = Ring of Gallentry. Trivial > 250 + Trophy

I know that when I cast one the old imbue spells, I have to have a gem in my hand. Do I need to combine the 2 parts first, and then cast Imbue?
Or, hold the Raw Diamond and the spell automatically combine the 2 parts.

This is actually not true (or at least no longer true, I don't know if it was once true) -- for the old imbue spells, you do not need to have a gem on your cursor. If you do not, one will be taken from your inventory, imbued, and end up on your cursor.

I believe the PoP imbues to work the same way, but I can't speak from personal experience there.

No you do not have to hold the gem in your cursor. Just cast and the imbued gem will appear on your cursor
