an elemental stone droped for me off earth elemental not mudman. It might drop off of both.

Confirmed - stones are from the Earth Elemental model mobs. HIghest drop rate from the 'triumverate' ring in the center fo the zone, but you can also get them from any old earth elemental. I got my first one from the static by the pyramid, pulling mobs to the zone
