After reaching total boredom and quitting EQ for a while, I returned to play on FV and have discovered that I want to GM all my tradeskills on an untwinked unguilded Dark Elf Enchantress. Yeah I know... sad huh :?
So... as I have decided to be an Enchantress, currently level 38, Jewelry seemed to be a good place to start. I have been converting all my meager funds into platinum and gems lately, and the going has been slow. Well last night, the RNG decided to give me a hand.
I was hunting with some trolli friends, and after making an early evening of it I decided to stop in and do a few combines with the 6 platinum bars that I had saved up for. So... I hit combine. Failure. *sigh* So I hit combine, and tada! You have become better at making jewelry! (232) yay! Then I had to buy some more gems, so I sold my new piece and bought a few gems to do the other combines.
Then... *click* (233)

wooooo... I of course sold the new jewelry I had just made and bought a few more bars and gems. No failures, and within a few minutes... (236) (237) (238) !!!!!!!!!!
Well I tried for another hour with no skill ups and thankfully no failures. I was buffed with a KEI and Harness of Spirit, as well as my own buffs like Aug and anything that I can put up. I don't know if endure magic helps with JC skill, but hey, if I can cast it I got it up
Now I realize that I will probally have another 2000 clicks to get to 250, but I went to bed last night smiling over that one Then again, I got about 300 swatches I hunted myself banked to start tailoring, and I know the RNG will get me then I bet... *sigh*
