/loc of Diamonds

I am trying to find a place(s) to farm diamonds or blue diamonds. I've looked around this site, but can't figure out how to come up with list of the mob's that drop them and the zones they dwell in.

Also the WW camp (Nightstalkers, I believe is the real name) in PoN, in the SW corner of the zone.

I also believe that most of the pre-PoP Planes drop the gems, as well.

Lets see:
Plane of hate - insane drops
Plane of Growth - high drop rate
Nighstalkers in PoN - great drop rate
Everywhere else in PoN - good drop rate
55+ mobs in PoD - ok drop rate
Allizswaur in OOT - bad rate, annoying, but they drop
old Sebelis - better as you get higher. Disco, crypt, Juggs / reets
Tenebrous Mtns - the Coterie Castle

Those are the ones off the top of my head.

The best place in the world to farm diamonds - Plane of Knowledge

They are common as dirt (find them more often on vendors the 'chunk of meat') and only 200p ea.

If you camp Mavuin Hall in PoJ, you will get tons of (regular raw and blue) Diamonds and other cash loot. all from level 49-51 mobs. Good spot for Ethereal Parchments too, RvRwise.

Pretty much any of the higher-end zones can drop them, with your best bet being Sebilis or any of the Planes (old or new). Given that they're part of the standard drop table for any of the higher-level zones, it's pretty hard to put together a drop list for them.

yeah. anything level 50+ have a chance to drop Diamonds, Blue, Raw and regular.


Planes of Power used to be the cache for diamonds. it was not unusal i walked out of a xp session with a stack of each kind.
however the drop rates on those are lowered. they still seem to drop quite much in the planes.
the regular diamonds seeming the least common, and blue the most common. (i'm sure theres some odd forumla that the higher the mob is the better chance to drop the better gems (raw+blue)).


And most of the ppl traversing the planes sell the diamonds to vendors in PoTranquility and PoKnowledge. peek around i'm sure you can find some there if you wanna. seem to be buyable for 210ish pp.

The various sentries and gaolers in PoJ are good spots for BDs, diamonds and raw diamonds. A mid-40's party can do the sentries in the first hall pretty easily, especially with a slower. The Gaolers in the second hall are a bit tougher, but have a better drop rate. The EXP is good as well. No faction hits either on the black-robe guys, and you generally will be non-KOS to most things until you attack them (althought there are some odd assist aggro rules - you'll want to pull them away from other mobs or rats)

I can personally attest to Diamonds, Fire Opals, And Star Rubies (High End gems), dropping in Dulak.

I have heard that everything drops them, but I have only seen them from "A shady treasure sorter", "A Storage Worker", and "A Storage Assistant".

Of course, that's all I hunted. I got more then one of all of the above, and people have told me they have seen BD's drop as well.

Doing three hours of xp'ing in Dulak generally nets my partner and I two blue diamonds and two regular diamonds on the ships. Pretty much anything in the zone other then scouts and maybe a handful of odd low level things in zone can drop gems up to and including blue diamonds. Nice cash here overall and good xp for the right levels.
