Noticed that bloodmetal is listed to only drop of orges in PLane of Tactics.
Well go some off the war wraths last night too.

Supply vs demand seems very high for bloodmetal. It's less than 100pp even in the bazaar. It may not drop very often, but since it's only used for one recipe in one tradeskill it's easy enough to find.

the thing i am having troubles with is the highly polished gem

both items are random drops off any mob in the zone save Bosses, ie tallon zek, diaku overseer, etc. the highly polished gem I've ever only seen drop off of Diaku ogres the bloodmetal is very abundant in the arena pit.

im confused about the bloodmetal earring of engagement recipe.

it calls for an enchanted BAR of blood metal. i have only seen BRICKS of blood metal. i have not seen any recipe that would turn a brick into a bar.

so does a BAR actually drop? or will a BRICK turn into a BAR when its enchanted?

Have never seen a highly polished gem on anything but an ogre, which probably explains the rarity. Everyone hunts the pit because the XP is SO much better. You can get lots of bricks and bloods there too.

I think the Living Coal can drop off anything..

I've seen a few highly polished gems in the pit, but from talking to a friend that usually does the daiku above, the ogres drop them much more frequently.

can anyone explain "exactly" how to enchant the bricks of bloodmetal to make them bars please? and with the orange diamond do you need 2 wraith blood ? one for spell and one for combine ? any info would help please

Combine a Distilled Mana and a Brick of Bloodmetal using the forges in Plane of Knowledge (New Tanaan) to get an Enchanted Bar of Bloodmetal (trivial <=181).

Yes, unless the person imbueing the diamond already has the spell scribed.
