Seeking advice from someone that did jewelcraft early on (say 2002 and before)

I am messing around on an emulated server. Doing mass enchant platinum and making and selling items to the vendor. I am steadily going up in PP total. Does that seem right? I don't ever remember on the old game being able to perpetually keep skilling up and making money just from vendors?

Actually, I think it is right....I messed around on the TLP servers and played with JC for a bit....If you don't enchant the metal, your successes sell back for a smallish loss. If you DO enchant the metal, your successes sell back for a smallish profit. It's not a terribly fast way to riches, but it can help offset the investment in skilling up.
