bug in trophy?

I hit 300 in JC last night and checked my trophy for the first time in years lol and see it is only 5/7 !?!?!

I always equip it and got it as soon as the quests came out so how come it is not way closer to 7/7?

When I did my baking and hit 300 my trophy was 6/7 90%

Any advise??

Well, first of all, when you ding from 299 to 300, your trophy will then be no higher than 6/7 @ 0% in. My guess is you got your JC trophy later (skill-wise) than baking. If you continue to do combines, your trophy will continue to evolve, and at a faster rate (I don't remember how much faster - but alot). It will get to 6/7 very quick, IIRC.

Your trophy evolves on an "experience" scale (for lack of a better term) while your skill advances on a "chance" scale.

Your trophy only earns experience when you successfully complete a combine. (And only if the combine is within 100 points of your raw skill, if your raw skill is less than 250.)

A trophy can only advance to one tier ahead of your skill, at which point it stops advancing until your raw skill reaches the same tier:

The tiers are:
Tier 1: 50-99
Tier 2: 100-149
Tier 3: 150-199
Tier 4: 200-249
Tier 5: 250-299
Tier 6: 300


In your case, you skilled up to 300 at a rate faster than the present number of successful combines (experience) to advance the tier 5/7 trophy. However, do not fear, your trophy will now advance at an accelerated rate (11 times faster than normal) until it reaches 6/7.

As posted above, the trophy levels at a fixed rate. Either you were doing a lot of combinations out of the range at lower levels or you have not successfully completed enough combines to eveolve the trophy.

No, it did not. The highest it could have been was 0% into 6/7. As I stated above (and confirmed by the house Ogre) the trophy cannot and will not advance until your raw skill reaches the same tier as the trophy.



Advice:

Continue to do combines (successes required) on non-trivial (anything 301 or higher) until the trophy evolves.

The trophy will evolve at a rate of about 1% per (successful non-trivial) combine (in reality a little faster) until it evolves to level 6/7.

Then the trophy will take about 8 (successful, non-trivial) combines per 1% until the trophy evolves to level 7/7.
