My jewelry crafting has been sitting on 200 for over 250 combines. Is this just a string of bad luck, or is there something i need to do to go past 200? Thanks.

Just to be clear. You need the AA to go over 200 in ANOTHER skill

Would be nice if there was some sort of in-game warning (hopefully I wasn't just ignoring it). JC was my second to get about 200, but I didn't know about the AA till after I wasted a bunch of combines.Comment

I noticed my gnomie got JC skill ups passed 200 even tho he has 300 in tinkering.Are the racial/class tradeskills not counted in the two tradeskills passed 200 without AA's rule?Comment

Yikes!
I hope you were all using your trophies to do those combinations. If so, they should not have been a total waste.
