  • Maxing out the jewelry trophy?

Any recommendations for maxing out the trophy? Are blue diamonds + velium the cheapest way to go, or is there a better route?

The only things I saw for mass production:
    velium blue diamond bracelets
cutting shimmering nihilite and uncut rubellite
making jewelry from raw faycite crystals (limited to 10 at a time)
sunshard ore (how many combines per piece of ore?)

    Well ...

My first jeweler was maxed from old-style Prestidigitase Jewelery (which won't sell anymore).

My second jeweler is making and selling Dwerium Trio ... a slow process, but eventually I'll have the 1000 or so combines.

I personally would recommend the shimmering Nihilite, if your server is like mine. I pick a few of those a night up in buyer at ~25-35pp each. If you do enough, its 3 combines per. Pretty good cost/exp ratio imo.

Buy all 4 types. You can get the amber and indigo really cheap and skill up your GoD conversion on them, saving the shimmering (and crimson) until you get your skill up. It does take a lot of combines to get to 3 per though.

Shimmering Nihilite and Uncut Rubellite did it for me. I was able to buy stacks of them pretty cheap in the bazaar. Even with zero sellback, I think it worked out cheaper than other options.

Yep, I've been buying up those two gems when they're cheap, seems to be a smaller loss than blue diamond + velium. Takes a lot of running around in the bazaar though, as most everyone has only 1 or 2 for sale. Sometimes I see folks with a stack of blue diamonds on them at 350pp each and decide to bite the bullet just to save time. With my last batch, I should be over 90% today.
