Any chance Tribute can be added to the new cut gems. They currently have no vendor value, very little resale value (some) so a little tribute would be nice.

Probably not.
Except in special cases we do not like adding tribute to things just because you make a trade skill combine with them.
And frankly, many of the gems are way to common (not the highest end stuff)
