they changed the trivial on the Gem Studded Chain to 250!!!! does anyone have another "inexpensive" way to go from 283-300?

Sorry no such thing as cheap skillup anymore. Blue diamond recipes trival over 300 but BD's tended to sell for a lot. Sunshard Ore plus pure silver also trivals over 300 but silver is about 450 each and sunshard ore is usually around 1500 to 2000 pp each on Maelin

Shimmering Nihilite is still cheap, though I suspect more people will figure that out soon. Dwerium, while not cheap, can sell for a profit.
Other new gems to look at are: Uncut Jacinth @287, Uncut Black Sapphire @300, Uncut Rubelite @304. These three are not likely to be desired for stats, so are there primarily for skill ups.

Cutting the uncut gems will get you skilled up to 300 and skillup (if that's the correct term) your trophy, so that appears to be the new path. And its much cheaper, I'm buying uncut rubellite for 50p a pop.

thanks for the input guys... unfortunatly i'm on the Moneybags server, formerly known as Luclin... the rubellite and black sapphires (uncut) both average 500-750p... usually 1k+... and the shimmering nihilite is 2-4k ea... /sigh

I've been buying Rube's, Presti's, Harmonagates, and BDs, myself.

Bds are useful for other stuff, too, though.
