I'm doing the Journeyman's Trophy quest, and 2 of the combines call for Pale Nihilite. With all this other nihilite running around now, I'm confused. First, does Raw Pale Nihilite still drop, or what do I need to make the Pale Nihilite? I did a quick search in my buyer window, and Pale Nihilite came up, but I couldn't find Raw Pale Nihilite to buy.

What exactly do I need to finish up my trophy, and does the JC combines still work?

Do Raw Pale Nihilites still drop? Not sure.

Do Pale Nihilite recipes still work? Yes.

So /auc or /bart for Pale Nihilite. There should be players on your server who have some in bank from before patch of Nov 20.

Ok, Item ID for Raw Pale Nihilite is 58067.

Item ID for Raw Crimson Nihilite is 58067.

Searching for Raw Pale Nihilite on Lucy - nothing appears.

Don't think Raw Pale Nihilite will be dropping.


Apart from /auc and /bart for an old Pale Nihilite from players, you can also try the following and see if it works:

Give a Raw Crimson Nihilite to the new JC vendor in Abysmal Sea (she is standing in between the two old ones). She will give you back 2 Crimson Nihilite. Use this Crimson Nihilite as if you are using the Pale Nihilite and see if the recipe works.

I just made a Pale Nihilite Cestus Kit with a Crimson Nihilite. So confirming that Crimson Nihilite works for GoD smithing recipe as well.
