Marquise Cut Amber/indigo Nihilite
Made some today, put one in a ring a tried it on to find out the stats, removed, put back in pile, now whole pile is no trade because the augs are Attuneable, but was never asked if I want to attune it. Rest of the gems I made didn't do that though, but they also didn't ask me if I wanted to attune it either.

The only fix is to have the gems not stack at all...

Or to have code have it "not stack" if the atunable flag is different. I can ask for this, but I have no eta on it at all. It is faster for me to make it all not stack at all.

yup, which is why I do not want to do that now.

There seems to be a work around:

OK.. if you have a stack of attuned, and add a non-attuned, they are all attuned. If you have a stack of non-attuned, and add an attuned, they are all non-attuned. So if you accidently attuned a stack with auto inventory, you can undo it. <snip ..> To make this clear.. any augment stacks you have in inventory keep their status, and any augments you add to those stacks take on the pre-existing status of that stack.

Which I am fine with for the short term.

I think I am also going to be fine with just making items attuned and items not attuned not stack (items with the same setting will still stack though)

I hope that that will not happen before the fix that shows stats, but I am not sure what order code will be doing things.

Oh, it's supposed to be a half moon? I kinda thought it was a lemon wedge.

But instead of this attuning problem, why not just make them not attunable at all? Even for being very new, prices on some of these dropped gems are going for as low as 500 plat already. If they're already common enough to be disposible, maybe just save the code team the headache and take off the tag?

They were made attunable because of a bug related to selling them to merchants causing crashes and placing them in shared bank slots causing inventory wipes. Hopefully its a temporary fix but theres been no further talk addressing the root problem so I wouldnt hold my breath.

Im not even personally participating in jewelcrafting anymore.
