    cutting tool...transform!

    anybody else notice that when you cut amber or indigo nihilite your cutting tool comes back as a different kind (not marquise cut)? also, sometimes it will get cloned...

    The cloning happens because of salvage. If you fail the combine, you get back the (incorrect) tool every time, and then your salvage checks and returns to you the lost "component" -- the correct cutting tool.

      hmmm... duping exploit? Not that the cutting tool is worth much to begin with, I could get more PP farming giants than cloning tools to resell.

        id much rather the cutting tool come back to me the way its sposed to be. cutting stacks of nihilite is very tedious this way

          I did not manage a fix to this in this patch, I will try to get in in asap though.

              it looked like just the Nihilite (all 4) was there more?

                I haven't yet tried every possible combination of gem and tool... (yet to even touch a taaff) but I think you are right.

                  I can confirm Indigo Nihilite and Crimson Nihilite. I have yet to touch my stacks of the other two, as I wasn't in the mood to fight with that trickster cutting tool
