Sources for JC molds?

I cannot for the life of me find ring molds, earring molds, etc.
Are these limited to new content?

Most shopping centers should have these -- I know Freeport and Crescent Reach do, and I think Abysmal and PoK do as well, but I'm not sure. It's the same molds from PoR jewelery, basically.

Basically, yes, but with 1 big improvement. Instead of a ring (etc) mold for every single cut (round cut ring mold - bah) there is only 1 mold (ring mold).

its been awhile since ive done jewlry crafting (think last thing i made was some palladium jewlry for a friends alt)

i been looking for the various cutting tools, but cant seem to find it.

doing the search it says combine A tool to make B tool, then B tool to make C tool, then C tool to make D tool, then D tool to make A tool , but not able to find the base tool to start with.

The gem mold vendor in CR sells the Trio Setting Tool... which is the one you cycle through to get the other tools.

I *think* I made mine... but that was a long time ago.

Aye, I found them in thurg and abysmal. I'd just spent over an hour checking every reasonable (and a few unreasonable) vendor in PoK tho, and was a little flustered as to why they weren't there.

Bazaar also has some. A few traders were taking advantage of new expansion ignorance and selling solo, duo, and trio setting tools at a high price even thought you could find them on many JC vendor for a few plats.

The same vendor that sells the molds sells the tools.

The order is:

square
round
oval
half-moon
trilion
pear
oval
solo
duo
trio

then it recycles back to square

I can't remember if the tool is a square tool or a round tool when you buy it new from a merchant, but it is one or the other.

I think square is on the merchant. Solo should also be there (though not necessary)

Yes square is there unless someone sells the other tool. I still see people asking for where is x cutting tool. I've even sold a few other shaped tool on trader for as much as 500pp each.

There needs to be a way to clarify this in game. Like a visible tag in big bold letters stating tool can be changed to other shaped when used in JC bag by itself.
