New Palladium Ability

I finally found at least 3 of the new spells for enchanting palladium. There is a catch they are not spells they are bought abilities that you learn by right clicking them. These 3 are bought from Palik Agrolm in Commonlands.

Ability: Enchant Palladium Trio
Ability: Enchant Palladium

They all have the same text

magic, No Trade
Class: Enchanter
Race: All
Size: Small
weight: .1

Effect: Learn Ability (Casting time: 5.0)
EXPENDABLE charges: 1

I can't seem to find it them in my create items, any spell list or even in my aa.
Can't seem to open my abilities window either. I am lacking SoF so that may be the problem. If anyone would like to add on how these darn things work please feel free to let me know.

They are an AA.

Open your AA window and look in the enchanter tab.

Also using spell research you can make Greater Mass Enchant Palladium, along with Enchant Dwerium and Mass Enchant Dwerium Abilities.

Wow I did not expect an answer so soon. Well after learning the abilitys for the second time I rechecked my class aa and still did not see any new learned aa for enchanting palladium. Again I lack SoF but I can see my other missing aa for this expansion.

I will have to check With Nodyin to see if it is SoF restricted. I asked that it not be, but it is possible it went that way anyway.

I have 5 accounts and yes the character doing this is an enchanter.

Location of the abilities is spot on. The AAs appear under the "Class" tab and the category is marked "Secrets of Faydwer". If you do not have the expansion, this is probably why you cannot see the AAs.

I'm disappointed with the insanely long refresh times (1 hour for single bar, 3 hours for 3 and 10 bars) of these AAs. I'm even more disappointed with the fact that all 3 AAs are on the same timer. For example, if you enchant a bar of palladium, all 3 AAs go down until the timers for each individual AA expire.

Yes, you read that correctly, enchanting 1 bar means that you can't enchant 3 or 10 bars for 3 hours (their refresh times), not 1 hour (the refresh time of the single bar enchantment).

I hope this is not by design, as one of my optomistic guildies suggested.

What's the level restrictions on these new JC abilities ?

I wonder why I can't see it. I can see all my other missing SoF aa. It is really sad I have no intentions of buying the new expansion till SoE comes off the price. I guess it will be some time before I can get into making the new Palladium. I hope the same doesn't apply to making Elegant armor. I already know I can't make the symbols due to the quest being more then likely in a new SoF zone.

I did not see any level on the abilty scrolls that may be in the aa.

You currently must have SoF enabled on your account before you learn the abilities. My chanter learned the abilities before I purchased SoF and I couldn't see them in the AA tab. Once I purchased SoF, I had to re-purchase and learn the abilities before they showed up in the AA tab.

My guildie found a merchant in EC that sells the other Enchant spells. He found "Ability: Enchant Palladium" was only a couple plat.

He was able to right click it and then got the aa.

Had all 3 of the ones listed, single, trio, mass.

I do plan on getting the Palladium AA's released from SoF, and moved to GoD The Dwerium will likely require SoF.

All AA's have some sort of level restriction, right?
I assume my level 25 enchanter tinkerbot wont be working with SoF jewelry.

Are these at the minimum AA level 51?

I was afraid of that. At least now I know to always use the Mass Enchant!

If there is no level listed, then there likely is no level required (like veteran's rewards AA's).
