path to 300... *bangs head*

With some extra money and stockpile of nearly 1600 blue diamond, I took the time to drive the last 50 points in JC. Using the guide version 4.0, I spent about 30k getting from 250 to 282, then went BD for the rest.

I used 400 BD to reach 299, and then I got stuck for no reason. The next 200 BD plus 18 assorted radiant cut stones, no skillup. According to calculator I should be seeing a skillup after about 43 combines. My JC trophy have dinged level 6 already.

*bangs head on the desk* 218 combines with nothing I swear RNG is being evil after letting me have a fairly quick skillup from 250 to 299.

Time to farm some more money so I can get veliums or stones and try for the last skillup.

1600 BD's OMG the poor smiths/tailors need those for old school cultural:-P Make gem studded chains instead:-)

I usually find 200 or 300 gem studded chains on various POK vendor if the zone hasn't been down for a week or so. Beside GSC don't stack space waster

Studded chain won't sell much even in bazaar- I may get around 50 each and they cost more to make while velium BD sells for over 450 to vendor so more money back on combines.

I thought you said it dinged earlier? Not that it matters though. =)

Anyway, Congratulations! 300 is an accomplishment.

On my chanter, I used a variety of PoP, LDoN, Diamond, Blue Diamond, OoW and DoN to get from 280 to 300. I mostly cut augs and a few pieces of jewelry to get up to 10% into 6/7 and did Gem Studded Chains for the rest.

On the ranger, I just sucked it up and after Velium Ruby did nothing but Gem Studded Chains to push to 300.



The real question about using Blue Diamonds or not, is how cost effective is it? If you are buying them for 495 (or more) and another 105 for the and selling for 450 means 150 plat loss each AND using up your supply of Blue Diamonds. To me it is definitely worth the ~250 each combine for the GSC even when they only vendorize for 21pp.

a friend gave me 6 'whatever'flow Stones the other day and I had a voidflow in the bank so i did 7 Radient 'whatever'flow combines.....

got 296 and 297.... In 7 combines baby!!!

I know its gonna take me like a million combines to get the last 3 skillups, but whatever, I am happy at the moment!
