    I give great praise to the developers for the implementation of the various "cut" tools that have allowed us flexibility in creating the multitude of staurolite, prestidigitasse, harmonagate and (now) taaffeite jewelry.

    However: is there another facet of flexibility that could be added?
    I imagine somehting along the line of the OoW Alchemy/Poison effects palced on OoW augs.

    Different reagents confer different stats in Major/Minor strengths and effected both by the rarity of the gem and metal.

    Each finished piece of JC can have a specific number of reagents in the final combinbe.

    Procedure:
    1) Shape metal into ring, pendant or earring.
    2) Take gem and mount it in the ring, pendant or earring.
    3) Take mounted ring, pendant or earring and major or minor stat reagents and combine.

    Reagents would bestow the usual types of stats found on sought after JC items like hps, statistics, mana, etc.

    Perhaps, should the mood even strike one a focus could be placed on the items like Mana Pres, Haste, etc.

    We have some thoughts along lines like this, that *may* take a code change just to avoid making a billion recipes.
