  • What sort of jewelry do you find sells well in the bazaar?

Currently, my Jewel crafting skill is 192 and am finding that Golden Fire wedding rings sell pretty well.

Some of the other things I've made, or have attempted to buy low / sell high have not done so well. For example, I'm nearly giving away Velium Jacinth wedding rings at 390pp (price to vendor is 366pp), and no one seems interested even though I've had them for sale for quite some time. Sv Magic +14 seems good to me, but not many people are interested, apparently.

I used to be able to sell blue diamond electrum bracelets for a good profit, but not many people want those now. I think there are a bunch of PoP items that are better.

So, just a general question .. what sells well, what sits in inventory, and do you foresee the end of Jewelcrafting being made worthless due to the PoP items?

Also, are you seeing much market for Cazicite jewelry. I rarely see any for sale in the bazaar, and I hear that CT is pretty empty these days because of PoP.

    Hiya,

Well, for PoP Jewelry the PoV ring is by far the most profitable and easy to sell jewelry due to the relatively vast supplies of components and the desire of peoples to want it.

The Earring in Tactics would sell as good but...the supplies of components might prove harder to get, you may have to pay more for 1 Highly polished gem then you would want to...and the higher the components cost, the higher you want to sell...the Earring is even more wanted then the ring, no doubt, but the supplies is so much more limited and peoples often don`t want to sell or want much more PP...

    Well, that was my 4cp...

PoV ring was a mine and still is profitable even if nothing compare to before!

Earring supplies is hard to get, so you will want to make much more profit by item since you do much less...this is much harder sell.

    Take care 8)

I've been selling platinum jewelry as I skill up and also found that the Fire Opal rings sell well. Others include plain Opal, Bloodstone, and occasionally Jade. But the most common sellers are Jasper (wis) and Star Rose (int). Of course these are also the ones where competition drives the prices down.

I'm at 240 now--I'll start trying harder combines at 243.

My better half is a GM jeweler, and gets good results with velium fire emerald rings.

            Jewelry in the bazaar

I've had good success with electrum black sapphire earrings and golden fire wedding rings mostly. The hard part is finding people selling the black sapphires reasonably or finding them on vendors for ~183pp or just plain looting them. Even if you buy the black sapphires, you can still double your money back just about at 350pp a pop.

My biggest pp maker is gem studded chains.

              Costs under 250pp to make.
About 50% successs rate at 250 +JC trophy.

              I average selling 2 a day for 1k.

Gonna agree with Gem-Studded Chains. I see TONS of these for sale in the Bazaar on Sol Ro. Aside from those... I still see MANY BD Bracers too.

                  bling bling

I'd say biggest money maker would be the Valorium Ring of Gallentry. The normal price of these are around 20kish in bazaar...but I usually do /auction WTS Valor ring for 14kpp and get 3 or 4 tells soon after I hit enter. What I do is...after I've won or soloed for a metallic liquid in pov I go to bazaar and buy the razorfiend claw for about 3k, I have a stack of valorium bricks that I enchant when I need also...hit combine...pray for no fail or I eat the 3k i've just spent then sell ring for 14kpp. Here's the breakdown:

                  Metallic Liquid : 0pp
                  Razorfiend Talon : 3kpp
Enchanted brick of valorium : 210pp (for the 2 sapphires needed for distilled mana)

Total cost to make = 3,210 pp
                  Sold for 14,000 pp

                  Net profit = 10,790 pp

Of course you can hold out and try to sell ring for the current market value and make more pp but I dislike waiting and prefer more instant gratification. I've sold about 5 or 6 so far this way.

How long does it usually take you to score a Metallic Liquid? I'm no where near being able to craft these yet, but I see the Liquid alone selling for 6k-9k in the Bazaar on Sol Ro.

                      Valorium ring

On my server(MM) The lowest price I have seen thus far in bazaar are

                      7000 for metallic liquid
                      1500 for razorfiend talon

If you buy at those prices and sell at 14k, you are still running around a 5k profit per success. Sucks to lose 9kish on a failure though

Sounds like you'd be better off selling the metallic liquid for 7k and keeping the sure profit.

I have a friend who last i checked had 53 successess and 2 failures on the Valorium Ring of Gallantry. That's at 250 JC with Jewelcrafting Mastery-3, so figure close to 90% success without. It seems as though the trivial is not too far above 250.

(I've seen 85-90% on the Night Terror Chjain as well, so it seems as though many of the PoP recipes are close to 250.)

Still sucks to fail on a 9k combine, but if you average 3-4k profit each including failures.... Not bad if you have the starting capital to try a few combines; you can still recover if you fail one, and odds are in your favor.

[edit: note that I'm primarily a smith, so my understanding of exactly how JC mastery may be off; but she was getting about 95 percent success with it. Could be luck, could be ....trivial in the 260s?]

                              Nothing..

Only thing worth selling in the bazaar are POP jewlery items or BD gear if you get the BD from a mob. Its almost pointless to buy a blue diamond and the metal. If you fail you have to sell 3 just to make back your money you just lost.

People sell for 100pp over cost on my server. BD earings are 500-600pp. So its not even worth hitting combine.
