Just last night, after what seemed like an eternity, I hit 250 in Jewelcraft. I just wanted to share some thoughts.
NEVER AGAIN. LOL )
My INT was at 247 and from skill level 230 & up, I used a Geerlok.
First of all, money was an object so I enchanted *all* my metals. Also, when it came to platinum - I had to work in stacks of 8 because, well that's all I could afford.
I did the majority of my combines in Felwithe. My longest streak without a skill-up was 128 - that was from 223 to 224. In fact, 4 times it took me 100+ combines before a skill-up. I really didn't fail all that often, so even though the skill-ups sometimes took forever, I didn't lose much money.
What made it all worthwhile is that I lucked out and made my Jeweler's Eyeglass the first time around.
I feel like I'm part of an exclusive club now.
Thanks to everyone who posts to this site - your comments and info helped me a ton.
