I've figured out clear skill paths to 300 for every skill except jewel crafting. Any suggestions which way to go? Paying 500pp each for blue diamonds in barter mode seems to be common, but I'm reluctant to lose hundreds of plat each combine. I've also considered the velium route with merchant bought diamonds, jacinths, and black sapphires, but I think there's about a 100pp loss per combine on those too. I have three stacks of scale ore on my mule, so I might go for a few stacks of paladium combines, but those don't sell back to merchants if I remember correctly. Same deal with the solstice robe chains. What's the preferred combine in this skill range?

The vellium polished quartz bracers trivals just over 300 but its hard to get enough quartz since its only foraged in LDoN zones:-P -
Everything seems to be a pretty steep loss of plat, I'm just trying to figure out which is least bad. 250pp loss on the gem studded chain seems to be a good baseline; anything with a loss more than that isn't worth making. Maybe doing velium + dropped gems, using up my palladium, and finishing off with gem studded chains is the best I can manage.Comment

I opted Gem Studded Chain, and then loaded up mules, to save them as the cost to them make Ceremonial Solstice Robe tailoring attempt is relatively cheap (yet extremely time consuming) if you do your own farming. Since I know I will eventually be doing more tailoring attempts, I am holding off on skilling up the JC trophy until I get the current stash used up.
