Something is Up with Thurgadin?

I went there to buy some stuff that I can only get there--there are Murdered Merchants and Gored Guards and no one else that is regularly there. Is there another place to get those unique Thurgadin tradeskill supplies? Because now I'm stuck on some things...

It is interesting to think what they could be up to there, but I still want to do my tradeskills...

This happens when someone runs the 10th ring war. It'll all be back to normal in a while.

It only happens if they Failed the 10th ring war. I don't recall exactly how long it takes but they will return to normal.

Unfortnately some asinine person would keep restarting the 10th war and not finish it, which meant those doing shawl quest, thurgaden mm, and anything else needed in icewell keep are screwed out.

I thought you had to give up your 9th ring to start the war.

You have to show the NPC your 9th ring but he gives it right back and a note to start the quest.:-)

i belive they are dead for 3 whole days

I'm fairly sure it's more like 2 hours.

I know for certain its longer then 2 hours. The last time I witnessed it I was in the zone for 6 hours (foraging) and they were just chalk outlines the entire time.

On an interesting aside, if you "kill" one of the corpses they will respawn

It is SUPPOSED to be 2 hours...right now it's buggy and on some servers its been more than 2 days and still no reset, as per the thread on EQLive

This has been so ever since PoR went life. AB was lucky enough to start after PoR release with a dead thurg. Stayed dead for at least several patches
