I am currently at 180 jewelcraft and was wondering what happens if I fail the final combine. For instance, if am doing the final combine of the Imbued Royal Velium Breastplate + etching tool and I fail does the breastplate poof? It seems very silly if it does as that would be a lot of work down the drain but I can't see any other way they could punish you if you fail.
