harmonagate not showing in /buyer?

anyone else having problems finding harmonagate in /buyer? i went to add a line, but could only find pear/trillion cut harmonagate, and velium rings made with the same.

i know the bit about "things don't show up in /buyer until they've been seen on the server" but, surely, if a pear-cut hermonagate has been seen, then a harmonagate has been seen as well....

this was tribunal, by the way, 1 a.m. March 2.

I don't think it's "if they've been seen"...I think it's "if they CURRENTLY exist"...of course, the odds that it HAS existed and doesn't are very low. (I only make the distinction because I seem to remember something about some DoN cultural subcombines showing up when they were made, but disappearing when they were used to create the final item.) /shrug

however... if trillion cut harmonagate, trillion cut harmonagate velium ring, pear cut harmonagate and pear cut harmonagate ring show up in /buyer, then surely harmonagate itself has been seen on my server (tribunal)? those four couldn't have been made without the original gem showing up somewhere, right?

is it correct that the criterion for "shows up in /buyer search" is that the item has been on the server?

I know that for tradeskill combines /buyer is based off "has been made" not "currently exists". When I made the first Interplanar Brain Blaster on Prexus, I also made the first Camphor (a subcombine). Neither was in /buyer beforehand, and both were in /buyer afterwards even though the camphor was consumed. I'm not sure that the same rules apply to dropped/quested items though (and Prexus also has cut harmonagates but not plain ones in buyer).

It should register on "loot" but I am not 100% sure there. Loot stuff may need to enter the bazaar in some way?

I looted a Harmonagate in Theater of Blood tonight, but it was on the FV server so I'm not sure if that will help you. I haven't cut it yet, so I'm willing to help investigate this somehow if needed.

While the stuff I was looking for for fun is unrelated (Baking) I think it might have some sort of relevance... after I found out about the new baking challenge, I did a buyer search for challenge in the bazzar, it returned the Meat, Sauce, Cheese, and Veggies - I had made the sauce before looking, but none of the rest.. and noone seems to have figured out the meat, and the veggies recipie wasn't even found at the time. I have also done searches for things I have on me (or had made things with) and found nothing, so whatever the coding is supposed to be, there might be a glitch somewhere..

I also have not been able to find Harmonogate to set up a buy from the /buyer screen. At first I figured it just wasn't available even though some of the cut versions are, but it appears as though the bug is in the /buyer setup screen in the bazaar.

Don't know if this is helpful or not, but harmonagate is showing up on buyer in FV, but then again I haven't cut the one I looted yet.
