Those HOH enabled - Metallic Liquid?

I was wondering if the animated suits in HOH drop metallic liquid.

As I understand it only the Animated suits in POV drop this, I have not been successful at killing them, can anybody confirm this

I don't think anyone can confirm a negative.

I know that the suits in PoV do drop them, but it's a very rare drop. My group has gotten 3 liquids so far (and had to waste one on the imbue spell itself, *cry*).

If HOH drops, it will be added new as of todays patch. Previous to today, no suits in HOH droped the liquid. Even though the zone consists of about 75% suits.

Metallic liquid now drops uncommonly off of golems in wastelands and cave in Plane of Valor.. I got 2 drops in 3 hours and was the only person who could even remotely use them but still had to roll for them yay

Yeah, don't you hate it when someone wants to roll on an item that they can give to a jeweler to get a very nice ring they can use? The ring and the liquid should be made no drop so only people who can make the ring themselves (and do the imbue, ******) would want to loot it. :roll:

I feel kinda gypped from the 30 hours I spent killing the armors in PoV for 3 liquids, but that's the way the cookie crumbles I guess.

Well, I don`t mind paying a few k to get the liquid myself and resell it 25k as a ring!

Most peoples that win liquid sell it to me, andothers groups from the zone and whole server come back to me knowing I will not fail, you just have to figure what is the motivation of each player. :P

It is tradeskill, this mean it is tradeable, I get 90% of my supplies for silly prices from vendors, in that precise case peoples know it is precious because we make it know widely, we have to account for our act in sharing a little of the wealth, which is np to me. Paying 5k to get the liquid and selling item 25k, this left 20k, remove 1500 for the components and you have 18500, remove 5% for failure rate (with JC mastery III and all the tools) from the 25k this is 1200 less, so 17300 PP of profit for something others win/farm...shrug to me it is eas PP and even if you change the calcul a little, do a little of this that, it is still very nice.

Well I know soon some will sell as low as possible and destroy the market, this is oky, but your own fault, not players that want the liquid. 8)

Atm, the order is to makea few PP while we can to repay all our efforts and make it worth it...and...mos peoples will gladly throw much PP to get such a ring no matter what, and theyneed a Jeweler to do it, so if you want to complain, complain at those asking less then you to work! :P

Yet I won`t complain myself, enjoying it while I can, when others jewelers decide we needto starve again, we will starve, but will have some stocks of PP for the benefit when it was possible to make some. :P

Soloed in PoV got 3 in one night.(As a reference I also got 5 EP and 14aa points during that time)
Far too common now.
It will be raining these rings soon.
Was a pain off animated soldiers but at least you could wear it knowing you worked hard for your nice ring.Some time in the future they will be common as mud and near worthless as PoV must be one of the most camped places just now.
They should have increased drop rate on soldiers but now it is just a huge slap in the face to anyone who hunted Animated Soldiers pre patch.I do not think anything like the Mithaniels Girdle and Windblade flood will happen for a while though as many many people are looking for tradeable rings of this quality.25k is pretty cheap for something of this quality in a relatively hard to fill slot.Ring of lightning is what 50k on most servers still ?
Also with JC mastery 2 I have made 4 Glittering Rings of Judgement and 5 Valorium rings of gallantry with no fails(didn't even bother with GM tool).Still own 4 valor rings and 2 glittering ....can't even be bothered selling them as I don't need plat..Nothing to buy anymore.... Nevermind... guess they just needed to exercise the old nerf bat again...
I admit that anyone who gets one now will be happy and wont see it as a nerf but anyone who hunted Animated Soldiers will know what I mean.Especially since they fixed the pacify bug and made the soldiers less risky to pull.Ironic that they fix a bug that really affected one mob then change the loot table so noone will want to kill the mob anymore anyway.

On Xev the Metallic liquid is being sold for 15k + and the talons up to 10k.

Everyone wants the liquid!

The greed of people is enormous. When they patched and made the golems drop this in PoV the big gap grew on people who can solo and those that can't.

The green eyed monsters with pp signs in their eyes now farm these things non stop. As someone said before, killing the suits was hard, but you knew that not just anyone will the spell snare could kill these things easily. They were hard work and needed some team work, which isn't it all about?

This needs fixing, it's getting way out of hand.

I don't know about you. But I killed Golems in the wasteland for about 5 straight hours. Chain pulled, 1 metallic liquid. Doesn't seem like an terrible drop rate to me. They can be solo'd ? Oh well. People have had to deal with solo'ers forever, that's nothing new.

It's just a question of simple math. If you change the dynamic of the drop, whether increased drop rate on one mob, or spread the drop to other loot tables, MORE people are going to kill your mobs. If they increased the drop rate on Animated Soldiers by 25%, people are going to start killing them, and you wont have a chance. However if you spread it around the loot table, and keep the drop rate about the same(that's what it seems to me), then more people can all have a chance.

Can't have it both ways. Either way, Metallic Liquid is going to be filling a black hole on the servers for a LONG time before this market is used up.

Yup yup, I know, I could have sell for much more. But I wuld have feel bad about selling for more, now if I would have to pay metallic 15k each, well I would resell for 50k+ for sure, so until that day where I can`t get more ring, I will continue that way...this is already a nice profit considering 95% I didn`t hunt myself, but trade 1 ring for 3 liquids or the like(well atm I still have many talons, might have to revised that soon since will be a pain to get now that folks don`t sell 200pp in bazaar not knowing what it is used for) :P

But I also judge my server, and auction for an hour and sell for22k my first, that was the highest bid. Each server have a different reality, on my server the items above 200k are AoW loot and the like only.

Well, the key to soloing for a chanter would be using charms and kitting a lot since no summon. Wizzy(and some droods) can quad them with ease and some monks might be able to take them straighfully, a ranger could bow kite no doubt...but soloing is...soloing...:P

Metallic Liquid

I have seen the metallic liquid drop in the wastelands off the rock mobs. Not common, but about one ever 2-3 hours. Problem is one group I was in wouldn't even roll on them...declared them "cash loot" and therefore belonging to the cleric. Even if I wasn't a jeweler this would annoy me...given what they sell for they are not simply selling to replace dots used for group.

Razorfiend talons seem to drop more frequently, at least in the Outer Caves.
