  • trivial vs results discrepancy?

After seeing lots of Prestidigase pass through my guildmates hands this last week (at least 9 or so) I was ecstatic when I had a Staurolite drop in my lap while exploring Sverag. So the first chance I got, I did a comparison cut. Woot, a greater than 300 trivial on the gem cut. But alas, my hopes of something really nifty are dashed when I do the final combine. The stats were significantly less than the prestidigase (yes the spelling appears to be incorrect on the item in game) earring even though the combines for prestidigitase gems are much lower than the staurolite ones. I've copied the 2 earrings from my data submission.

It almost looks like they left a '1' off of the stats. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Oops

The Stuarolite is more common overall (there are likely to be more in the world), though it may not be as "farm-able" as Prestigitase so it got the lower stats. When I swapped things... I forgot to swap the trivials... So there will likely be some trivial changes to line up the trivials better. I.E. Prestigitase trivials will swap with Staurolite trivials.

Thanks for bringing this to my atention.

Does that also mean that the req 62 rec 67 things will disapear from the staurolite palladium earring...
cause to be honest a sta+4 hp/mana/end 35 item with required lvl of 62 is a bit of an abomination imo

        I do not know.

I am not in control of that, Maddoc is. I forwarded this information to him, with a comment that I thought some of the level restrictions were a bit harsh.

LoL, wondering how long I should stockpile my prestidigitase then . I'm gonna assume this is not on the front burner.
