I managed to cut a Kyanite the other night on the first try, with 306 modified skill. Immediately following, I failed a Mossflow stone. I have an abysmal success rate on cuts (for one person in my guild it's almost always a fail, which makes me just cringe!), but I got tricky this time. I do all the other tradeskills as well, and the night before I'd had a very unusual 2 fails in a row in baking at the end of my run. So with fingers crossed I stuck the Kyanite in my JC bag first, and it paid off.
