I think what he is saying that just like with the Velium Geode Bracelets - of which I have 65 in stock, and I already tributed 20 of them - the palladium jewelry is not worth it if you are just going to do skillups.
The difference in stats, combination of stats, and slots makes the jewelry a very good seller. I have sold a number of palladium items for 1500p so far. I bought 8 Scale ore for 500p, combined them with a number of random gems, and sold almost all of it. The Diamond one seems not popular. The Fire Emerald ones are gone when I wake up the next morning after setting up trader.

Some of the palladium jewelry might have a market in the bazaar depending on saturation on your server. My husband sold several pieces of Black Sapphire Palladium, which makes a nice HP/Mana earring (no recommended level). The Jacinth palladium isn't selling at all. Not many people want to buy a ring that's AC4, MR 12.
The Palladium Ruby ring is decent too - wis 10/str 10.
Basically, since it's got no vendor or tribute value, I would restrict your palladium combines to items that will have appeal to others.

So, you're saying I should just trash the scale ore I've been getting while foraging for alchemy and brewing items?
1) Which is also an answer to the original post, I have also found that palladium fire emerald and the black sapphire palladium combines sell well in the bazaar.
2) There are people like me out there that have been fighting and fighting to get skill ups past the store bought triv of 282 who would love to have access to scale ore.
So you can either make some jewelry to sell or sell the scale ore itself.Oonna Wynterbreeze - 61 Enchanter

Sure, it will cost you a ****load of money, but it can be doneThey do still sell fairly well on bazaar I found out for tailoring purposes to skillup to 252.

I'm trying my with all my might to avoid the gem studded chain cause I don't have a ****load of money. And it is really tempting since I have a smithing of 115 and have been pulling my hair out for weeks with these... 91, 133, 165, 187 etc combines to skill up. And *now* I'm having another first. I have always had two or three skill-ups within a stack or two of combines after one of those nasty long no skill-up runs. Well this time after my current record of 187 combines without a skill-up I'm now sitting at 62 combines and counting trying to get 292.
If these runs start hitting back to back I'm bout ready to... pardon my french... stuff my jeweler's eyeglass up Sony's bum.
