Well, I managed to make a little more money and I hit 300 last week somewhere.... I did Gem Studded Chains the last few skillups, and I managed to sell them all in bazaar for 250p a pop. Yes, that is below production costs, but I needed money quick, and I considered it an investment in jewelry.

I dont have any tanaan new craft AA's so my next goal is gettin them other tradeskills to 200 for now .

Can anyone give some fresh advice on farming plat for a 66 Enchanter? I don't want to stand and Kei (I do that often but for free). I don't want to sell to players to make it back. Just old fashioned hunting and merchant selling.

Its probably not THE best spot, but I went to Dulak and picked the easiest boat for farming gems a while back. I they drop plat, and gems fairly often. If you have Dire Charm you can find a lvl 46 NPC elsewhere in zone, and then go raid a boat

I found though that by far the best way of making money is making wanted Jewelry and selling it for profit overnight. I have my EQ up for 24/7, of which only about 5 or 6 hours are actual play time. The rest of the time my mule is in the bazaar. When I get on, I check what I have sold, then I use /bazaar to check for deals on tradeskill components such as blue diamonds, geodes and recently of course scale ore. Then I log on my chanter, and while LFG I create more jewelry to sell (depending on how much is on mule and how much is sold) and dump it into shared bank.

Thanks for the ideas. I had forgottten about Dulak.

So far I have earned enough for 20 BD's. I have learned that Crystal cavern geos are now poor, and that the giants in everfrost are perma camped. So still poor and still looking for the pot of gold zone. I hope it it Dulak.

Dulak boats were not great. Moved to Nadox. Much better. Can still Dire Charm and the Trolls drop gems about 1 in 3! Plus the aggro range is pretty low, there are few wanderers and best of all they dont run! Still not sure it beats Rathe, but it is plain more fun to hunt blues than slaugher green Giants. I can almost taste my (300).
