Possible new recipy.

I was bumming around lavastorm and i decided to do the minning pick quest. after i completed it the gnome said that if i got him 4 fiery ores that he would make me a ring with some of the gems he had. when i turned in the ore he said three for me one for you. Now by itself i wouldnt have thought anything about it but close by one of the dwarven brewers gives another quest for 3 out of the 4 components to make forged firebrand weapons. so i thought id post this and see if any of you rich chanters strike paydirt. At lvl 8 i cant exactly do alot of experementing myself but i thought you guys could.

No it is a quested ring. but like i said the dwarf there gives you a quest for forged firebrand weapons. i contains 3 of the 4 items that you need for making forged firebrand weapons. so like i said i thought this might be the same.

If you hand in some tradeskill items to that dwarf, he returns a Forged Firebrand weapon... or you could use the tradeskill items to make the temper, and forge your own weapon.

You hand in some items to a gnome and he returns a ring. The big question is... are any of the items you turn in "Tradeskill" tagged?

If so, it is possible that there might be an alternate recipe for you to make your own ring. If not, then those items are probably just quest drops and the reference to "3 for me, 1 for you" is a roleplaying message, not a tradeskill hint.
