Is any enchanter who went through the whole 95% --> 52% --> 75% history of JCM3 on 335 items interested in retelling the chronology? I am interested in knowing when the changes took place and how the changes were discovered just as a part of tradeskill lore. I followed the thread on it till Sept 2003 and never read what happened to it afterwards.

The whole content of this issue is all in one thread, and it would be easiest to re read that then to trust our fuzzy memories on exact dates, I posted a lot on that thread, if you search for posts by me in the jewlcraft forum your bound to find it. IIRC I was the first one to post that it was a potential issue, and then sat down with a GM and did some test combines to prove that it was borked. It took them a while to fix it, but it was "a known issue" for quite a while. -

The thread you mentioned was the thread I was following. But it did not extend to how it was found out later that it was fixed. (That thread was locked by Sept 2003.) I am most curious about how it was later found out that it improved back from 52% --> 75%.Comment

it was mentioned in patch notes when it was fixed. Thats the best clue I can give you as to when it was repaired.Comment
