This has to be a case of the poster not knowing that using recipes close to your trivial is key to getting faster skillups.

Not only faster skill ups, but more successes to sell back to recoup the costs.

I went from 155 - 179 on a little under 500 pp a few days ago. And that was being not very careful as to what I combined AND not using a geerlok (I was in a hurry )
