I have a 65 cleric who capped Smithing, Pottery and Tailoring via the Tanaan Mastery AA ability (too lazy to make a mule, I should have) for quite some time.
Trivials of 295+ (50 to 80% success rate via calculator) proved fruitful. The sample size is fair, of some 110, but w/ a success rate of 101. That is over 90% success in all 3 crafting fields on 300ish+ triv items.
Then came Jewelcraft.
I made a now, 39 chanter w/ capped JC (252). The success rate is downright scary in comparison. 8/22 on upto 308 triv items. I know the sample size is low and a string of bad luck may be in my gene pool, but I'm really here to hear how others have faired and on which hi end jc items.
I dont have nor will grab the jcm aa ability as the toon is just a mule. I'm beginning to believe in voodoo. That is dexterity, level etc.. SOMETHING else is playing a role here where my 65 main has had so much success.
Hows your luck been?
