Ofala Olan says her brother is is interested in a harnessing the power of a stone for some form of "mind control, that could b e activated through a peice of jewelry."

The two strange rocks you need seem to come from miners and their masters in the Torgiran mines. It must be of the type of ore that "glows brightly." She says "Bring these to me with an enchanted bar of gold and I can fashion a test ring from it."

She seems to only tell this to certain people. I tried with an Enchanter/JC and she told me about some Enchi Spells and the Rocks. I don't know if a JC person of another class can also get this text. I tried with my smith warrior, and she told me to go away =)

Ofala may be broken

Went to the mines and got some Pristine ore samples. I went through with some guildies and pretty mch laid waste to the area as we were way overpowered. When I finally got back to Ofala with the ore and the enchanted bar...I gave em to her and nuthin. No message no I dont want these nuthin..she ate em up. I petitioned and sent in a bug report etc so hopefully it will get fixed at least to say "dis aint what I want" if in fact it was incorrect. Out of all the stuff I saw there this seemed to be the most likely ore she would want.

I suspect this is the quest for the new enchanter spell Scryer's Trespass, which involves giving Gleaming Zraxthril Ore to Ofala Olan.

Perhaps, but she specifically mentions making a prototype of a ring, and it's a seperate message trigger from the spell quest text.

This is not a tradeskill combine at all.

Olga simply hands you back a ring to give to her brother in Erudin.

EDIT: This spell (as is the other LoY spell) is No Drop so it's pointless for a non-Enchanter to try and pharm these for sale.

This is one of the spell quests, not a tradeskill combine. It's for Scryer's Trespass.

Apparently there is an NPC for eack class' new spells, and (s)he will only respond to members of that class.

As for finding Torgiran's Mines. it's a pain to find. And after 4 hours of soloing miners and troll goons, I have yet to see a single one of the correct ores drop.

Indeed when you give her the glowing ore X2 + enchanted gold bar she then gives you a ring and a note you take this to stofo Olan(the guy who starts the Enc Epic) and then he gives you scyer's Trespass scroll.
