Anyone figure out where this comes from or how to make it yet?

Seen a few people make recipes using this, where did you get it?

The recipe is the result of doing to GoD Smithing newbie quests.

I have not made Shimmering Steel, but the other recipe, Bar of Aligned Steel uses a drop called "Aligned Ore". You just place that in the forge and get back 1 to 3 Bars. OR you can give the ore to Snokin Breaksteel and get back 2 bars. There is a drop called "Shimmering Aligned Ore" that I assume is used to make the bar, and I don't know if Snokin Breaksteel will accept Shimmering ore for conversion. I've also not seen where Shimmering Aligned Ore drops.

I asked in another thread and was told Kod'Taz is the zone where shimmering ore drops.

Shimmering ore drops off random mobs in Kod`Taz, and higher zones.

I got a couple "alinged ores" from Trial 6 - seems a few tradeskill items drop during this trial, ive gotten hynid hides in various qualities, taelosian wheat, and some other items
