JCM 2 numbers

I thought these might be useful to someone.

Since the Oct 8th, 2003 that changed jewel craft mastery I've had the following success rates:

Tempest Earrings 11/17
Valorium Ring of Gallantry 35/50

All this is with 240+ skill and trophy equipped. I have jewel craft mastery 2. From some asking around I believe that at 240+ skill you have about a 50% chance with a PoP JC combine. JCM1 gives you a 60% chance and JCM 2 improves that to ~70%. JCM3 gives a 90% chance of success on a PoP combine. Again, these are my guesses. Just including my data for reference. It's also my experience that all the PoP JC combines are about the same success rate.

Not all PoP combines have the same trivial. The lower tier combines are easier and fail less than the upper tier combines. Elemental combines, in particular, fail a ton, even with JCM 3. 50% success rate is a good day doing PoAir and PoEarth rings for my guild, while I'm annoyed if I fail more than 1 in 4 or 5 Valorium rings.
