    mob dropped gold(en) earring

    several of these have dropped. they say this item is used in a tradeskil. what are they for. i can't find the recipe anywhere. i used the search here.

    EDIT also found them on merchants as what appears to be stock. what am i missing?

    these, and several other bits of jewelry (copper rings, for example) are used either in quest combines, or, supposedly low level mage research

        Anything that gets "combined" by players - quest or regular tradeskill - gets that tag.

            If its for mage research its considered a trade skill. Making a spell is considered a tradeskill.
