Collapsable jewelry kit?

Does such a thing exist? If so, where do you buy one? I've seen mention of collapsable trasdeskill kits, but nothing solid.

It would be nice, as I usually sell JC containers back to the vendor when I'm not using them.

yes there is

i bought 1 from a player yesterday, it container that fits into a bag to be blunt. you have to right click it to get the skill kit. they make it for all skills. i think they are player made because the guy i bought mine from had about 6 other collapsable kits he was selling also

Collapsed Jeweler's Kit

They are made by tinkerers, but are Lore, so you will not see tinkering traders with TONS of them. Right now on the Luclin Server, there are 2 being offered in The Bazaar -- 1kpp and 600pp. That seems about what the Geerlok's were initially selling for.

Collapsed Kits

If you take a tinkerer some coiled springs from PoI when you want a collapsible kit, it will probably greatly improve your faction with them 8)

I've seen a couple of these collapsable containers on my server, runs for 500pp each avg. I was wondering what in the world they were now I know, certainly nice to have especially with those mixing bowls! *scowls*

These are more or less useless, as you cannot combine PoP recipes in them (aka new tanann kits)

I love mine. I do very well selling a few of the high end jewelry items in my server, and I like not having a "bank" slot wasted by a 4 slot kit. I advertise "custom Jewelry", so people send tells with orders, and I can whip out the bag and make em on the spot. I do the same with my mixing bowl, and my spit, and sewing kit too. Its nice to be able to travel with 4+ tradeskill containers, and still have 7 bags. As for the planar jewelry, the occasion to make one of those is so rare, I just buy the bag and hit combine, then sell it back. Who cares if I lose 3gp to NPC markup, I'm getting ready to make 5-35k on the new jewelry piece....

My gnome is a tinkerer and can make all of the collapsed items. If you are on Kane Bayle and want one, send me a tell. I appreciate the fact that I can just save the item and not take up a bank slot for a small container

The collapsable kits being LORE makes absolutely no sense. Took me about 5 or 6 times of losing a successful combine, but finally started remembering to check bags to see if I already had one. If the collapsable kits are LORE then all the PoP crafted items should be LORE. Since this is the Jewelcraft forum, Vallorium Ring of Gallantry comes to mind. Make em LORE.

No, them being lore is a good thing from a tinkering standpoint. It stops them from being dumped on the market for skill up use. Helps them retain some of their value. Trust me, any plat you lose because you don't know what you are carrying is considerably less money lost than what it would be due to lower price from a flooded market.

Not at all like the rings, which are much harder to make, requiring more expensive parts, parts that are harder to get, trivial past 250, the casting of 2 spells, and the use of 2 different tradeskills.

What is the point of implementing a skill-up item that is LORE? As for the current value, both of my Bazaar mules rarely sell any of the collapsable items. The lost plat isn't the concern. It will take forever to use 3 stacks of coiled springs. lol

Yes, the rings require more expensive and harder to obtain items...all the more reason to make the resulting item LORE. Aren't most other high end items LORE? Collapsable jewelkits (and the others) are hardly high-end, are not trivial over 250...so should be an option to skillup.

Just make everything in the game LORE.

I love my collapsable kit and mixing bowl. That saves me a ton of space and now I don't need to go running back to town every time I need to make a combine. I see no reason for the collapsable sewing kit since I have about 40 delux ten slot kits.

Since a jewlery kit is 4 slots that give me 7 extra slots of inventory.
A collapsable spit doesn't make any sense since I would need to put that in a 10 slot bag and would just be trading an 8 slot bag for a 9 slot bag.

As of yesterday's patch, collapsible jewelry kits should work with planar recipes!! :P
