  • Which one first?

Right now I'm getting close to becoming a member of the 1400 club (200 in 5 tradeskills so far) and I'm hoping to be a member of the 1750 club someday, but I wanted some input about which tradeskill people recommend GMing first? Its going to be a little while before I have the AAs to put into New Tanaan Tradecraft Master (or whatever), so I'm going to have to live with my decision for some time...what do y'all think?

I'm kind of leaning towards brewing, just because Mino Hero's Brews are such a straightforward path, and I'd like to get a good start on my carpal tunnel (9 item combines, ack!). I don't have a preference of one tradeskill over another, although tailoring has been very painful so far and it looks like it just gets worse. I also don't have a specific goal with tradeskills (I'm not trying to become the master tailor for my guild, or think that there's a big market for a GM frog Fletcher or anything).

    Thanks for your help!

    Hmmm...

Honestly, this boils down to personal preference.

If you want to 250 a skill quickly, then brewing, or Jewelcraft (all 2 item combines to 250) might do it for you.

However, it might be wise to get one of the HARD ones out of the way first, such as smithing or tailoring.

For me, my cleric is doing Smithing (201), my wizzy already 250'd brewing, and I haven't decided with anyone else yet. :b

Anyway, if ya need the stats from the trophy NOW then go ahead and do brewing, or maybe jewelcrafting. If you don't need the INT/WIS or CHA on the trophy, then I'd personally chose one of the ludicrously hard ones like tailoring or smithing and get it over with.

I would recommend either tailoring or smithing.

You will love the headstart you will have on either if you do it now, and will probbaly finish them at the same time you finish the other ones.
