I don't think you can "train" a skill at all past 21.

Poison can be trained at any point using training points because it's a class skill. Might be the same for alchemy, don't know about that. The higher the skill point achieved, though, the more it costs to trains.

That said, no, you cannot use training points beyond a skill of 21 for normal tradeskills.

Oh yeah! Research is that way as well. I wonder if Tinkering can be trained like that since it is a racial skill... *ponders*

Just in case anyone wants to make blessed fishing poles, fishing can also be bought with training points.

I’m afraid you can’t train alchemy past 21 either. As with most trade skills, your only option is to spend thousands and thousands and thousands of plats if you want to max out your alchemy skill.

And he said "past 200"... I know you can't get fishing past 200; can you get research over 200 as well?

Sorry, my only INT pure caster who would need research is only level 21.

The only "extras" skills that can get over 200 are Alchemy(right? I have a shaman friend, although very new to TSs, who insists you can only skill it to 200 but I swear I saw someone say they had a 203 raw skill once), Poison Making, and Tinkering. Everything else is restricted to 200.

I have not capped my alchemy yet, I had always heard that 200 was the max. If it uses strictly the level cap, then at 65, you should be able to get 205 alchemy.
