Elf Essence?

Hmm pretty confused here. I am doing the Crown of Deceit quest for the wood elf illusion crown. Iksar Warrior worshipping Rallos.

Finely maxed out faction with the live frogs in Guk, bought the mastadon cloak, bought the vial of purified mana, and have had the Reet Frog Crown for some time. So I thought I'd leave the easiest part for last. heh

Well I look up the recipe for the final part, Elf Essence. I follow the recipe of: 1 dark elf parts + 1 wood elf parts + celestial essence combined in a mortar and pestle. And I get the message "You cannot combine these items in this container type." WTH? :evil:

Is there some bug occuring with some recipes? Or am I just a total fool for overlooking something? I feel like pulling out each of the keys in my keyboard I'm so frustrated!!!

the recipe as listed on the site says

wood elf parts
dark elf parts
recipe he gives you
celestial essence

in a mortar & pestle.

try again and be sure you put all 4 things in =)

Yeah you're right. The recipe requires the recipe from the old froglok.

However, the EQtraders recipe does not mention this. From the EQtraders.com recipe:

Recipe(s):

Make Poison Components: celestial essence, dark elf parts, wood elf parts
In: mortar and pestle
Yield: 1
Trivial at: unknown

The recipe needs to be changed to say "Make Poison components: celestial essence, dark elf parts,wood elf parts, and the recipe from the Old Froglok."
